Wear loose fitting clothing, something that you will feel comfortable moving around in that will not restrict your range of motion.
What should I bring to the seminar?
The following items will be used during the trades. If bringing any of these items does not work with your travel plans, please Contact Us.
A Massage Table: some of the movements are done on an elevated surface. Also, if you are uncomfortable lying on the floor or have difficulty getting down to floor level to work with a partner, you may perform the movements on a table rather than on the floor. You will need a bottom sheet only.
Something to lie on to perform the movements on the floor. While the floor will be carpeted, it will be hard. Anything you can bring to soften that will be helpful: A thick wool blanket, a camping pad, yoga mat, gym mat, a therma rest.
A strap of some sort: A yoga strap, belt, or long towel. - Straps will be available for purchase at the seminar.
A roller: 4-6 inches in diameter and about 36" long (long enough to run the length of your spine, so the head and tail are on the roller). Each pair will need one. - A styrofoam roller, or a rolled up wool blanket or several beach towels rolled together will work.
Head support for the sidelying position.
Snacks: You know your own body, and what your nutritional needs are. Also, the seminar site provides water service and some snacks.
How else can I prepare?
